the beauty of variety in humanity is, however, the variety of views and beliefs. because, as a whole, we hold so many varying beliefs.. we have different insights.. and therefore.. different art. i feel that there will forever be, amongst the art community, the debate over what exactly art is. i don't really want to seem like i am categorizing people or being stereotypical.. but i do think that artists tend to hold very strong beliefs in what they do believe. - that is what gives us the ability to express them. artists tend to have a sensitivity to things that, perhaps, others may not. there is a "soul" (so to say) that lies within us.. that others cannot fully understand or see. there is a part to us that allows us to be expressive.. to view the world in a different way.. and to have the need to express it.
